Intricately laid stone and fired oak floors- black onyx surfaces and exquisitely engraved glass screens all serve to compliment the muted palette of natural tones and colours to give an edgy twist. The bathrooms too have engraved back-lit glass panels with many having separate wet areas with rain showers. Every detail has been catered for down to the beautiful Italian Bellora linen. The Franklin is due to open Summer 2007 after an extensive refurbishment program which began in Autumn 2006. Upon reopening- the hotel will have 40 bedrooms including The Garden Suite- five 1-bedroom suites- and eight Junior Suites.
